Gallery 16 provided a number of Tucker Nichols works to the Sun Valley Art Center for the group exhibition, I need to tell you something: The Lost Art of Letter Writing and Communication Today. All of the pieces were work sent to Griff Williams by Tucker through the USPS and many were the foundation for the book we published with Nichols back in 2007 titled Postcards From Vermont.

A quote from the press material frames the idea for the exhibition:

When was the last time you received a handwritten letter? Or sent one? In this era of instantaneous communication, a letter is a rare and treasured item. Letters connect us, bringing us together through their physical presence and providing a material link between sender and recipient.
